Gola Kabab |
- 1/2 kg Minced Meat(mutton)
- 2 tbsps. Papaya(paste)
- 2 tsps. Garlic(paste)
- 1 tsp. Ginger(paste)
- 2 tbsps. Onion(paste, fried)
- 2 tsps. Red Chili Powder
- 1 tsp. garam masala powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 no. Egg
- 1/2 tsp. Cardamom(powder)
- 1/4 tsp. Nutmeg(powder)
- 1 tbsp. Vegetable Oil
Method:
- Place the minced mutton in a bowl and mix well all the ingredients in it.
- To create barbeque effect, keep the pieces of charcoal on gas flame till it becomes embers.
- Place an aluminum foil on top of mince mixture, place the embers on it.
- Drop cloves over embers followed by a tsp. of oil on it. Cover the mince mixture bowl immediately. Do not allow smoke to escape.
- After about 5 minutes remove the bowl of embers.
- Make small size balls of mince mixture.
- Brush the baking dish with oil. Place the mince balls in it and bake in a pre-heated oven on 220 C for 20 to 25 minutes.
- Alternatively, heat 1 tbsp oil in a sauce pan and add mince mixture to it. Cover and cook on low flame till become completely dry.
- The gola kabab is ready.
