Falooda
Falooda |
- 8 scoops of Vanilla Icecream
- 1/2 cup Roohafza Rose syrup
- 2 tbsp Sabja seeds (Falooda Seeds)(babri byol in kashmiri)
- 2 to 3 cups cold Milk
- 2 tbsp dry fruits, crushed
- 1 packet Falooda Sevai
- 1 cup Strawberry flavored Jelly
- Set jelly into refrigerator atleast 5 hours before serving, just follow the instructions on the packet.
- Soak 2 tbsp Sabja seeds for 2 hours into 1/2 cup water.

Lab-e-Shireen

- 1 liter Fresh milk
- 1 Tin Pineapple cubes
- 1cup Sugar
- 1 packet Strawberry jelly
- 3 packets Fresh Cream
- 1/2 packet Boiled noodles
- 4 tbsp Vanilla custard powder
- Take 1 litre milk in pan and add 4 tbsp of vanilla custard powder with 1 cup sugar.
- Cook till custard turns thick.
- Now boil noodles and cook 1 packet of jelly.
- Now take a mixing bowl and place a layer of custard, then pineapple tin cubes, then a layer of strawberry jelly and noodles.
- Now again place all the layers and put cream from top and serve
Apple's Kheer

- Red apple - 2
- Milk- 4 cup
- Ghee -around 1 Tbs
- Sugar- 4 Tbs or according to your taste
- Salt - 1 pinch
- Raisin and pistachio few for decoration
- Wash and grate apple.
- Heat ghee in a pan in medium heat. Put grated apple and stir until all moisture is evaporated.Remove from the pan and set aside.
- Boil milk in a deep pan in medium heat until milk volume become half.

Khejur Pitha

- Semolina/Shuji- 1 cup
- Flour -1/2 cup
- Egg- 1
- Sugar - 1/4 cup or your taste
- Salt - 1/8 ts
- Clarified butter/Ghee/oil- 1 Tbs
- Baking powder- 1/4 ts
- Warm milk- 4 Tbs
- Oil - for deep fry
- Take shuji, flour, sugar, salt, baking powder and ghee in a large bowl, and mix it well.
- Now add the egg and knead the dough. If dough is too dry spread milk and knead it. Dough must not be too dry or too soft. It should be soft enough so that you can make balls with that. If it is not necessary do not use milk.
- Make small balls from the dough.
Moong Pakan Pitha

- Rice flour-1 cup
- Moong dal-1 cup
- flour-2 Tbs
- Egg-1(beaten)
- Cardamom-3/4 pieces
- Sugar-1 cup (for sirap)
- Oil for deep fry
- Salt-1 ts or your choice
- Grind cardamom seeds and keep aside.
- Wash dal. Place 3 cup water into a deep pan. Add dal to the water and boil until it become soft, then stir it continuously to make it paste. If needed add more warm water. When dal become thick and water reduced add rice flour,grind cardamom,flour and salt, mix it continuously. When it become dry enough to make dough, remove from the pan into a mixing bowl. It should not be too soft.

- Coconut-1 cup(grated)
- Date jaggery(gur)/Sugar-4/5 Tbs(for filing)
- Sugar-1/2 cup(for dough)
- Rice flour/all purpose flour(maida)-1 cup
- Cardamom powder-1/2 ts
- Salt-around 1 ts
- Oil-for deep fry
- Heat a pan in medium heat. Add coconut and date jaggery(gur)/sugar. Stir around 5 minutes. Add cardamom powder and stir until it become little sticky and thick consistency. Remove from the pan and set aside.

- Milk- around 2 cup(warm)
- All purpose flour-2 Tbs
- Egg-2(beaten)
- Oil- around 2 Tbs to brush the pan.
