Make Cheese At Home |
- Milk 2 cups
- Vinegar 4 tsp
Method:
- Pour milk into a sauce pan and slowly bring to a bowl while stirring.
- Turn off heat and add vinegar in boiling milk.
- At this point milk will turn into curd and whey.
- Stir it with spoon and let sit for 10 minutes.
- Strain the curds and whey through cheesecloth or a handkerchief to separate the curds from the whey. The separated curd is cheese.
- Press the cloth to run out extra whey out of cheese.
- Put cheese into a bowl and add pinch of salt if you like.
- Shape cheese into a ball or if you want slice cheese then set into a mould immediately.
- Refrigerate and use when needed.
