Chocolate Tart |
- For shortcrust Pastry:
- Flour 250 gm
- Butter 1/2 cup
- Caster sugar 1/2 cup
- Egg yolk 1 (beaten)
- For Tart Filling:
Method:
- For Shortcrust Pastry: Mix sugar and butter by spatula and then beat by electric beater just for few seconds.
- Now add flour and knead with light hand just to mix.
- Add beaten egg yolk and mix till crumbly.
- Now cover this crust dough by cling foil and refrigerate for 40 minutes.
- Roll out dough by rolling pin and spread on tart pan put some weight on pastry for blind baking.
- Bake at 160 celsuis for 15 minutes.
- For tart filling: In melted chocolate add cream, caster sugar and cocoa power put in microwave for 20 seconds or cook to heat.
- Now add egg yolks and mix, chocolate filling is ready.
- Fill this prepared chocolate filling on baked tart and refrigerate to cool ready to serve.
