Chocolate Tart

Chocolate Tart
Ingredients:
  1. For shortcrust Pastry: 
    • Flour 250 gm
    • Butter 1/2 cup
    • Caster sugar 1/2 cup
    • Egg yolk 1 (beaten)
  2. For Tart Filling:
  • Melted Chocolate 1/2 cup
  • Cream 200 ml
  • Cocoa powder 1/2 cup
  • Caster sugar 1/2 cup
  • Egg yolk 3
Method:
  1. For Shortcrust Pastry: Mix sugar and butter by spatula and then beat by electric beater just for few seconds.
  2. Now add flour and knead with light hand just to mix.
  3. Add beaten egg yolk and mix till crumbly.
  4. Now cover this crust dough by cling foil and refrigerate for 40 minutes.
  5. Roll out dough by rolling pin and spread on tart pan put some weight on pastry for blind baking.
  6. Bake at 160 celsuis for 15 minutes.
  7. For tart filling: In melted chocolate add cream, caster sugar and cocoa power put in microwave for 20 seconds or cook to heat.
  8. Now add egg yolks and mix, chocolate filling is ready.
  9. Fill this prepared chocolate filling on baked tart and refrigerate to cool ready to serve.
